IF conventional wisdom was correct and helpful… wouldn’t we be in better worldwide health?
I mean, most of us want to do the right thing. We are for the most part trusting people, by nature. We usually trust our parents, we usually trust our doctors, we usually trust our dieticians, we usually trust our scientists. Soooo… we have been and we have not been served very well. Worldwide obesity. Worldwide diabetes. Cancer on the rise. Dementia on the rise. Weakness and sickness (especially in the older folks) have become the norm. What’s the deal? We eat the prescribed amount of grains, eat low fat, stay away from saturated fats to avoid the dangerous cholesterol. Just like we’ve been told by our trusted experts. My friends, again we have been literally sold out by huge, enormous, gluttonous, profit driven propaganda. Even Ancel Keyes, who played a major role in this fat phobia with his faulty 7 country study (which by the way was actually 22 countries, then he edited it to match his presuppositions about fat causing cholesterol causing heart disease) changed his mind and refuted his own conclusions along with many other of his peers. But it was too late, the sugar industry and medical industry had what they needed to roll on over us and make sickness a huge and profitable business. To this very day we are entrenched in this dangerous and false narrative. Look with your own eyes and see if this looks anywhere close to right! We each have thousands of ancestors that have handed us down the very blueprint of exquisite health, in every gene, in every cell. My friends, the only way I came to semblance of health and strength, at the tender age of 60, eight years ago, when I said ENOUGH. I ate only real food, i.e. plenty of red meat, lots of animal fats, real butter, heavy whipping cream in my coffee, and a good deal of dark leafy greens. I was determined to move a bit like my ancestors, when I “ran” I would mentally summon my ancestral genes, I would imagine that my genes were identical to when they were in my elders running down prey in the ancient savannah. I believed in my own divine birthright for optimal health and longevity. I could go on and on and on. If you are interested in tapping into your “primal”, divine birthright of optimal health, I am here for you 100% please set up a free coaching call and share this with your friends because many are looking for just this Thank you Coach Couch out

Is it possible for you to be healthy? And what does that even mean?
Do you even think that you can become healthy or is that for others who have the 'right" DNA? Do you look at others and think, "lucky them, they have good genes"? I know I have done that, most of my life, and I didn't even think I had much to do with my own health/fitness/body composition. It was simply the cards I was dealt. I, and those of you who currently think this (be honest now), couldn't be more wrong! BUT.............it isn't our fault!!!!! We are inundated with information telling us that disease is inevitable, it's just a matter of time before we get diabetes, obesity, cancer, dementia, or any number of chronic diseases. Ubiquitous misinformation is the norm, and supported by our sickness, (oops), I mean "health industry". One of my favorite (gag me with a spoon) commercials is for "heart healthy" Honey Nut Cheerios. It touts the benefits of this highly processed cereal, which is consumed with tons of sugar and also itself just turns to sugar in your gut, producing a high insulin response, which we know causes fat storage and insulin resistance. We see and hear of all these wonderful new drugs(all of which have drastic side effects) that simply try to treat or manage the symptoms, no idea of the causes, which mostly can be reversed by simple life-style changes. Our bodies are constantly working for us to survive another day. We eat too much sugar, it stores it as fat to use later on for energy. But if we continue eating tons of sugar, we never use up the stored sugar and continue to store it as fat so we don't go comatose with too much. There are ways to return to health! It is our birth-rite and our sacred duty to ourselves, our community, and our ancestors to value what has been handed down to us! But we have to believe that health is indeed possible for us. Maybe even take a step toward health by cutting back a bit on poisonous processed foods that have a shelf life of like forever, cutting way back on sugar, (no sugar is not the innocent little darling that we are told 24/7 by monied interests!), sleeping more, (8 hrs if possible, if not then get a nap where possible), upping are protein intake, (using regenerative animal products as much as possible), and moving much more, including reducing butt time, (lol, you know, not sitting so much). Well enough ranting for now! Take your health back! Yes you can! You must!! No one else can do it for you. much love!!!!! Rich Couchpotatoprimalfit@gmail.com changing the world one person at a time Okay, so, the funny truth is that we have a whole lot more to say about our health than we typically think.
We are used to our aches and pains and have come to believe that this is just us, or the inevitable course of the aging process. And we are selling ourselves short and often selling out to monied interests. As often quoted by Hippocrates (the father of medicine) “Let your food be your medicine and let your medicine be your food,'' what and when and how much we eat has a direct impact on the health of our bodies. We are not that much different than our hunter-gatherer ancestors, who, if they made it through childbirth and also avoided deadly infections, starvation, and predator death, were extremely fit and active. So, here’s an idea for anyone wanting to reclaim their health, to become thinner and more energetic, regardless of age. ONE MONTH PROTOCOL
Try this for one month and see if you don’t gain energy, drop waist size, become a bit more clear headed. Then you will be ready to try whatever form of movement activity you used to enjoy or currently enjoy, just at a higher level, naturally. Just one month! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Let’s prove that our bodies are simply amazing and responsive to our inputs! In health, Rich Couchpotatoprimalfit Changing the world one person at a time Under the Pillar FOOD AS MEDICINE, we need to briefly address the overriding importance of the master hormone, insulin. When we ingest carbohydrates, we activate insulin release, which then stores the broken down carbohydrates (glucose) into our liver and skeletal muscles as glycogen (stored glucose) for future use. One of the problems is that most of us eat more carbohydrates than we can use, and then it gets stored as fat. Another problem is that by constantly consuming carbs, we always have high insulin in our blood. This high insulin blocks the energy-releasing hormone, glucagon, from coming into the bloodstream and opening up our energy stores, so we are in constant fat storage. When we are in high insulin mode, fat storage mode, we can't access our stored energy and so need another quick fix of glucose (sugar, processed grains, etc.,). So this cycle leads to a state of insulin resistance, which means we need more insulin to remove sugar from our blood and thus becoming more insulin resistant. Our highly processed, delicious food has all the fiber, fat, and proteins removed, leaving us with a fine powdered, highly insulin spiking food. Food in its whole form, veggies, berries, nuts, etc. has its original fiber and other nutrients present, protecting us from high insulin spikes. Just a couple thoughts on insulin, a master hormone. Interestingly, we are told to eat lots of grains(high insulin spiking) and avoid too much animal fats(low to zero insulin spiking) FUN FACT Those who eat high carb and low fat (per recommendations of US food charts) get fat! Those who eat high fat and low carb(contrary to "approved" food chart ) get skinny! in health
